MUMBAI, Sept 28 (Reuters) — STOCKS: The benchmark BSE Sensex was down 1.38% to 72,877, while the broader NSE Nifty 50 declined 1.4% to 22,822, as a rise in oil prices following a deadlock in US-Iran peace talks weighed on investor sentiment..BO Rupee: The Indian rupee declined 0.14% versus the U.S. dollar to 95.9425, as oil prices climbed after diplomatic talks between the US and Iran appeared to hit an impasse, sending US bond yields higher and likely drawing the central bank into defending the Asian currency. INR/ Government Bonds: The benchmark 10-year bond was quoted at 98.3875 rupees, with the yield up over 5.5 basis points at 7.1734%, as a shift towards longer-dated supply added to pain from local rate-hike risks and rising global yields.
