Gamuda wins EPC contract for Mortlake Energy Hub Stage 1
Gamuda says its indirect Australian subsidiary entered into the contract on 28 Sept. 2026. A separate O&M contract is expected within one month.
Gamuda Berhad said its indirect wholly owned subsidiary in Australia, Gamuda Engineering Pty Ltd (ABN 36 636 433 522), has entered into an engineering, procurement and construction contract with MEH SubCo Pty Ltd (ABN 51 686 683 214) as trustee for the MEH Project Trust (ABN 48 894 617 901) for the Mortlake Energy Hub (Stage 1). The announcement said the project is a 300MW hybrid renewable energy facility comprising a 435MWp solar component and a 1,449MWh Battery Energy Storage System, with connection to the existing 500kV network via the Mortlake Terminal Station.
Gamuda said the parties expect to sign a separate operation and maintenance contract within one month of this announcement. The notice was dated 28 September 2026. Gamuda's company registration number is 197601003632 (29579-T). 2026.
