Hurricane Polo advisory says preparations rushed to completion in Baja California Sur

The National Hurricane Center said Hurricane Polo was about 310 miles southwest of Cabo San Lucas with maximum sustained winds near 120 mph. A hurricane warning is in effect for parts of Baja California Sur, with life-threatening flooding and mudslides possible.
