Shares trade at April lows with investors potentially digesting news of the August acquisition announcement of UK-based SEGRO PLC, another logistics warehouse company.
The acquisition could help grow Prologis’ footprint in Europe by 43% and add to its pipeline of new builds. Prologis has beat analyst estimates for earnings per share in nine straight quarters, while missing analyst estimates for revenue in 11 straight quarters. The stock could be one to watch with the pending acquisition and a history of mixed financial results. Allison Transmission Holdings (NYSE: ALSN ): The commercial vehicle parts company saw strong interest from readers during the week.
The company reported third-quarter financial results in August with earnings per share and revenue both missing analyst estimates, but the company raising full-year sales guidance. Revenue was up 92% year-over-year and some business segments hit records in the quarter, likely showing that analyst estimates may have been extremely bullish. The company is one to watch as it is a major supplier to several different segments of vehicles.
