El Paso Natural Gas Co's El Paso C Station force majeure cuts capacity further
EPNG says the additional reduction is 106,417 Dth/d, taking the total cut to 312,889 Dth/d from Sept. 26.
C. (EPNG) continues to make necessary repairs associated with its high bearing vibration issue at El Paso C Compressor Station located in El Paso County, Texas, (Reference Critical Notice No. 629747). Due to operational pressure limitations, effective September 26, 2026, Timely Cycle (Cycle 1), the operational capacity through the ELPASO C and associated constraints will be reduced by an additional 106,417 dekatherms per day (Dth/d), resulting in a total reduction of 312,889 dekatherms per day (Dth/d).
EPNG will be posting an updated maintenance notice to reflect the total impact through the ELPASO C and associated constraints.
