Others Binasat Communications Berhad ("Binasat" Or "The Company") - Change Of Auditors Binasat Communications Berhad Type Announcement Subject OTHERS Description BINASAT COMMUNICATIONS BERHAD ("BINASAT" OR "THE COMPANY") — CHANGE OF AUDITORS The Board of Directors ("the Board") of Binasat Communications Berhad ("BINASAT" or "the Company") wishes to announce that the Company received a notice in writing given pursuant to Section 281(1) of the Companies Act 2016 from Messrs. Ecovis Malaysia PLT ("Ecovis") on their resignation as Auditors of the Company and its subsidiaries ("the Group") with effect from 24 September 2026. Ecovis was re-appointed as the Auditors of the Company at the Ninth Annual General Meeting held on 30 June 2026. The resignation was by mutual consent following the Group's review of its external audit arrangements. The proposed change of auditors is intended to align the Company's external auditor with the audit firm to be appointed by its major shareholder, to facilitating greater consistency and coordination in the audit process.
