KYIV, Sept 24 (Reuters) — Ukraine has asked the European Union to allocate an additional quota of 60,000 metric tons for bioethanol exports in 2026, agriculture minister Taras Vysotskyi said on Thursday. The current quota allows Ukraine to export 125,000 tons of bioethanol to the EU, and officials previously said it was nearly exhausted.
