Honda plans to invest $2.5 bln to build hybrid vehicle plant in Ohio, Nikkei says

By Satoshi Sugiyama TOKYO, Sept 24 (Reuters) — Japan's Honda Motor is in the final stages of preparations to build a new hybrid vehicle production plant in Ohio, the Nikkei business daily said on Thursday. Honda plans to invest about 300 billion yen to 400 billion yen ($1.90 billion to $2.53 billion) in the new plant, expected to start production in 2030, the daily said.
