InsurBanc names Garcia president and CEO

By Navneeta Nandan Sept 23 (The Insurer) — InsurBanc has named Lou Garcia as its president and CEO, the company said on Monday. He succeeds David Tralka, who has now assumed the role of chairman of the bank. Garcia will be responsible for the strategic leadership of the bank and its initiatives to deliver innovative financial solutions designed for the independent insurance agency community. He brings over 25 years of experience in investment banking, alternative asset management and financial services. He has been a vice president at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette, which was acquired by Credit Suisse in 2000, and a vice president at private equity firm JH Whitney & Co. He was also a partner and COO of Addison Clark Management before becoming managing director of CBAM Partners. Prior to joining InsurBanc, Garcia was a member of the board of directors at Fieldpoint Private.
