Plymouth Rock Assurance names Taylor president and CEO

By Mia MacGregor Sept 23 (The Insurer) — Plymouth Rock Home Assurance Corporation has appointed Chris Taylor from The Hanover as president and CEO, effective October 12. In his new role, he will lead Plymouth Rock's Independent Agency Group. He joins after eight years at The Hanover, where he most recently served as vice president and head of state management. Taylor previously worked at Plymouth Rock, where he helped lead the company's expansion into the New York and Pennsylvania auto insurance markets. In August, Plymouth Rock appointed Brooke Bass chief operating officer and Dale Brooks chief claims officer for its Independent Agency Group.
