POWER: Update - 400MW/800MWh Hunterston BESS Reaches Financial Close

Revera Energy has reached financial close and issued notice to proceed for its 400MW/800MWh Hunterston BESS in Scotland, with construction to begin immediately and commercial operations targeted for Q3 2028, the company said. * Santander, Barclays, Commonwealth Bank of Australia and NatWest are providing non-recourse senior debt financing. * bp will provide a long-term tolling structure, while Danske Commodities will provide a long-term floor; Sungrow will supply the battery system. * Revera has a further 400MW/1.6GWh of UK BESS capacity with planning consent, grid access and 15-year Capacity Market contracts, with construction proposed to start in the coming months.
