US Crude Stocks Rose by 2.97m bbl in Week to Sep. 18: EIA * EIA data showed US crude stocks built by 2.97m bbl to 426.4m bbl in the seven days to Sep. 18, a 0.7% rise week-on-week. * US production fell by 5k b/d, or 0.04% on the week to 13.94m b/d. * PADD 1 stocks were up 177k bbl, or 2.16% to 8.372m bbl, * Cushing stocks were up 2.266m bbl, or 10.55% to 23.748m bbl. SPR stocks were down 405k bbl, or 0.14% to 284.55m bbl, * In PADD 3, the USGC refining hub, stocks were down 2.092m bbl, or 0.85% to 244.08m bbl. * On the USWC (PADD 5), stocks were up 569k bbl, or 1.24% to 46.558m bbl. * US net crude imports rose by 369k b/d, or 16.57% on the week to 2.6m b/d. * Exports fell by 1.55m b/d, or 32.08% on the week to 3.28m b/d. Meanwhile, imports fell by 1.181m b/d, or 16.73% on the week to 5.88m b/d. * Refinery runs fell by 2.8% on the week to 94%. * Gross refinery inputs fell by 519k b/d, or 2.99% on the week to 16.81m b/d.
