US NATGAS: Henry Hub Slips Below $3.000 and Breaks Support

The OCT 26 NG contract has shed nearly 10 cents in intraday trading, down from an intraday high of $3.066 and resisting a stronger bull cycle * The front month pulled the bear trigger of $3.026 - the September 3rd high - in overnight trading, but rapid selling in American trading hours suggests traders are rolling positions to NOV after covering shorts in yesterday's session. OCT will expire on Friday and entered the spot period at COB yesterday pushing traders to shed exposure. * Intraday prices have ducked below the first technical near-term support level of $2.817, the low on September 22nd. The bear trigger lies at $2.668, the August 7th low. * The market opened with about 43K lots of open interest, while about 44K lots have traded hands so far today. * The prompt-spread is coming in during today's session, now trading at -$0.15 from an intraday high of -$0.67. * Average L48 temperatures are forecast to be just below normal this week before rising above normal into early October but with cooler risk later in the two-week outlook. NOAA 6-14 charts show slightly above normal temperatures across most of the L48 except the northwest. The latest GFS 6z 15day CDD forecast is 0.6 CDD
