US NATGAS: Henry Hub Rises to Highest Since Early July
Henry Hub front month is ticking higher again today after a rally yesterday to the highest since early July amid production declines and record Golden Pass nominations. * Average L48 temperatures are forecast to be just below normal this week before rising above normal into early October but with cooler risk later in the two-week outlook. NOAA 6-14 charts show slightly above normal temperatures across most of the L48 except the northwest. The latest GFS 6z 15day CDD forecast is 0.6 CDD higher and 0.2 HDD higher nationally than the previous run. * US dry gas consumption is 0.51 Bcf/d lower at 82.1 Bcf/d compared to the previous five-year average of 75.8 Bcf/d, MNI shows. * MNI data show LNG terminal feedgas demand is showing 32 MMcf/d lower today at 18.63 Bcf/d. An increase in flows to Freeport on the day is offset by dips to Cameron and Calcasieu Pass. * L48 production is currently estimated at 109.5 Bcf/d today compared to 110.9 Bcf/d yesterday and the 30-day average of 113.4 Bcf/d, MNI data shows. * Pipeline exports to Mexico are almost unchanged on the day at 7.9 Bcf/d compared to the 30-day average of 7.6 Bcf/d. * Net imports from Canada are 0.16 Bcf/d lower today at 4.8 Bcf/d
