BofA expects Bank of England to hike rates twice, reverses previous no-hike call

Bank of America Global Research expects the Bank of England to raise rates in November 2026 and February 2027, it said on Wednesday, abandoning its previous no-hike view as rising energy costs threaten to keep inflation elevated.
