The SENSEX Index Closes 0.40% Higher

The SENSEX Index gained 299 points or 0.40 percent on Wednesday to close at 74828 points. Gains were led by Tata Steel (3.16%), Bajaj Finance (2.95%) and Power Grid (1.67%). Biggest losers were HCL Tech (-1.29%), Infosys (-1.14%) and Tata Consultancy (-1.09%).
