POWER: Škoda JS Formalises Rolls-Royce SMR Supply Role

koda JS has signed a contract with Rolls-Royce SMR, formalising its previously announced supplier role and making it the exclusive designer and supplier of drive systems across all Rolls-Royce SMR markets, EZ said. * koda JS had previously been selected as a strategic supplier for key nuclear-island components; individual supplies under the new contract will be worth around CZK1bn. * EZ and Rolls-Royce SMR plan up to 3GW of Czech capacity, with the first unit planned at Temeln in the second half of the 2030s.
