NATGAS: Funds Edge TTF Net Longs Lower Again in Week to Sep 18
GAS POSITIONING - Net long ICE TTF positions held by investment funds edged down again in the week to Sep 18 to the lowest since July 10. The positioning has softened but remains bullish amid concern for pre-winter gas storage and ongoing Middle East supply disruption ahead of the coming winter heating season. * TTF front month has fallen from a high of 84.5/MWh amid current healthy LNG imports, above normal storage injections in recent weeks and market optimism as talks continue on the sidelines of this week's UN gathering. * Investment Funds combined future and options net position fell by 3.64m to 191.3m * Investment Funds futures net position fell by 6.28m to 90.52m * Investment Firm combined net position fell by 7.68m to -407.04m * Investment Firm futures net position fell by 7.04m to -290.74m * Commercial Undertaking combined net position increased by 11.59m to 215.12m * Commercial Undertaking futures net position increased by 13.61m to 199.61m
