EUAs are trading higher ahead of today's CoT data release and September options expiry. EU gas prices are slightly softer today. * EUA DEC 26 up 0.2% at 86.9 EUR/t CO2e * TTF Gas OCT 26 down 0.7% at 72.79 EUR/MWh * Germany Base Power OCT 26 down 0.9% at 160.98 EUR/MWh * Estoxx 50 up 0.2% at 6334.44 * ICE EUA futures daily aggregate traded volume stood at 26,668 contracts in the previous session, up 8.83% compared with the 30-day average. * EUA/TTF correlation for the 30-day period is at 0.45, compared with the 0.28 last week. * EUA/STOXX correlation for the 30-day period is at -0.19, compared with the -0.16 last week. * EUA/FTSE correlation for the 30-day period is at 0.11, compared with the 0.20 last week. * Temperatures in NW Europe are expected to warm toward month end before cooling slightly into October. The ECMWF two-week forecast for NW Europe is 2.4 CDD lower and 6.2 HDD higher relative to the previous model run. * Wind output in CWE has been revised up for the remainder of this week to a peak tomorrow but sharply revised down for mid-next week. Solar PV output has been slightly revised down late this week/early next week and is forecast to peak on Sep 25. * TTF front month
