Iraq oil minister says August exports total 70 million barrels

Iraq exported 70 million barrels of oil in August and is currently exporting more than 3 million barrels per day, Oil Minister Basim Mohammed said in an interview with state TV on Tuesday. He also said crude transportation by road from southern oilfields to a Kirkuk storage facility is expected to begin, according to the interview.
