Canada Competition Bureau agrees to loosen Empire property controls

OTTAWA--The parent of Canada’s Sobeys grocery chain has agreed to loosen property controls that the country’s antitrust regulator says industry leaders have used to suppress competition. The Competition Bureau said Tuesday it reached an agreement with Empire to address concerns over those controls.
