Lean hog futures rise ahead of Thursday’s quarterly Hogs and Pigs report

Most-active CME lean hog futures are up 2.2% ahead of Thursday’s quarterly Hogs and Pigs report. ADM Investor Services says short-covering is the prime daily driver and analysts expect smaller hog inventories.
