With the stock movement, Zuckerberg added $27.3 billion to his wealth, increasing his net worth by 11.9% to $255.4 billion, according to Forbes. Zuckerberg is the sixth-richest person in the world, but on Monday he outpaced all 10 of the top billionaires combined. The other nine richest people in the world gained a combined $24.14 billion, less than the $27.3 billion Zuckerberg added to his own net worth. Ranking second on the day was Larry Page, a Google co-founder, who added $5.2 billion to his net worth. Page ranks third with a net worth of $291 billion. Monday’s gain wasn’t enough for Zuckerberg to join the top five richest, but it got him closer to Sergey Brin, who is worth $267.7 billion and rounds out the top five.
