U.K. stocks mixed; FTSE 100 slightly higher

FTSE 100 was up a little past noon Tuesday, with stocks showing mixed performance as investors assessed the Middle East situation and looked ahead to U.S. President Donald Trump’s speech at the U.N. General Assembly.
