UK indexes edge higher as consumer stocks offset energy weakness

FTSE 100 rose 0.20% to 10,760.01 by 1011 GMT and FTSE 250 climbed 0.65% as consumer stocks gained while energy shares lagged ahead of potential US-Iran talks.
