CBI registers FIR over LIC investment fraud involving Reliance Capital
CBI registered an FIR based on a complaint alleging misappropriation of funds and falsification of accounts, causing wrongful loss of Rs. 2,684.57 crore to LIC, in connection with LIC investment fraud involving Reliance Capital Ltd.
The company caused misappropriation of funds and falsification of accounts, which led to a wrongful loss of Rs. 57 crore to LIC, the CBI said. New Delhi, September 22: The Central Bureau of Investigation said it has registered an FIR on the basis of a written complaint received from Life Insurance Corporation of India.
