Pirelli MotoGP tire tests show gains in grip, stability

Pirelli reported positive progress in developing slick tires for the 2027 FIM Grand Prix World Championship, when it becomes the sole supplier. Red Bull Ring test used soft, medium, hard compounds on front and rear, run on 850cc prototypes or modified 1,000cc bikes. Feedback from 18 riders supported performance targets, with stronger grip and stability highlighted as key outcomes. Next milestone set for early December at Valencia, with the first official 2027 tests planned with all full-time riders.
