Covestro signs 100 MW German renewable power deal with Ørsted

Covestro has begun sourcing 100 MW of power from Ørsted's Borkum Riffgrund 3 offshore wind farm under a 10-year agreement. The fixed-price contract covers a significant portion of Covestro's electricity needs in Germany, boosting the share of renewables in its global production to over 25% and supporting emissions reductions at its German facilities.
