European stocks mixed at open; banks slip as Stoxx 600 rises

Europe’s Stoxx 600 is up 0.2% at the open. Utilities and technology gain while banks slide; London’s FTSE 100 is up 0.1%. Kingfisher jumps about 9% after guidance.
