UK late-night venues rise 0.4% in March-June, first growth in two years

Britain's late-night venues increased by 0.4% between March and June, marking the first quarterly growth in two years, according to NIQ analysis. The outlet count remains 28.7% below March 2020 levels. Bars grew 1.3% year-on-year, while nightclubs fell 36.1% and late-night bars dropped 23.9% since March 2020. Sales share after 7 p.m. decreased by 1.4 percentage points year-on-year, with takings shifting to the 5-7 p.m. window.
