UK budget deficit narrows to £18.3 bln in August

Britain's government recorded a budget deficit of £18.3 billion ($24.5 billion) in August, the Office for National Statistics said on Tuesday. A Reuters poll of economists had pointed to a £15.5 billion deficit.
