Corvex Management seeks vote for Whitbread board seat

Corvex Management LP has sent a notice to Whitbread PLC's Board of Directors to requisition a general meeting of shareholders. The meeting is requested to approve the election of James Gemmel, a Partner at Corvex, to Whitbread's Board. Corvex, a shareholder since 2024, holds approximately 6.4% of Whitbread's shares.
