NHC issues Tropical Weather Outlook
The National Hurricane Center is monitoring Tropical Storm Fay, located southwest of the Azores. A tropical wave moving off the coast of western Africa has a low chance of development, but could bring gusty winds and heavy rain to the Cabo Verde Islands by the end of the week.

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Fay, which is located several hundred miles southwest of the Azores. In the far eastern tropical Atlantic, a tropical wave is forecast to move off the coast of western Africa by Wednesday. Environmental conditions are not expected to be especially conducive, but some slow development is possible as the system moves west-northwestward or northwestward across the far eastern Atlantic.
