Wendy's franchisee Meritage Hospitality files for bankruptcy
Meritage Hospitality Group, one of Wendy's largest US franchisees, filed for bankruptcy protection after the restaurant chain tried to terminate its franchise agreement. The company said it intends to keep operating its 314 Wendy's restaurants in 15 states.

Meritage Hospitality Group said last week it operates 314 Wendy’s restaurants in 15 states and intends to keep operating its restaurants during the process.
