Proposed UPI charge above Rs.2,000 may raise retailer costs

Analysts said a proposed 0.4% charge on UPI transactions above Rs.2,000 would increase costs for retailers and consumer internet companies where customer spending typically exceeds the threshold, including Nykaa and Lenskart.
