Iran conflict pressures Q2 2026 lending growth at UAE banks

Lending growth for the top 10 listed UAE banks slowed in Q2 2026 versus Q1 as the US-Iran conflict intensified. Net loans and advances rose 4.2% QoQ, while aggregate deposits rose 2.3%, according to Alvarez & Marsal.
