Australia's Kali Metals surges on lithium exploration deal with JX Advanced Metals

Shares of Australian lithium explorer Kali Metals rose as much as 7.3% to A$0.100 on Tuesday, heading for their strongest session since August 31. The company signed a binding Memorandum of Understanding with JX Advanced Metals for the exploration of Kali Metals' Southern Lachlan Project in New South Wales. JX Advanced Metals will provide up to A$700,000 in funding during the initial exploration phase, which runs until March 31, 2027. Kali Metals' stock is down 45.6% year-to-date.
