TC Energy to sell Mexico pipeline unit for $560 million

TC Energy agreed to sell Energía Occidente de México, owner of the Guadalajara-Manzanillo natural gas pipeline, to ESENTIA affiliates for a gross purchase price of $560 million, equivalent to US$400 million in cash proceeds. The deal targets a first-half 2027 close, subject to regulatory approvals and customary conditions. The transaction shifts capital from a mature Mexico asset toward growth projects across TC Energy’s North American footprint.
