Toyota plans automation push with up to 400,000 robots by 2028

Toyota (TSE:7203) is launching an automation push potentially spending about $1 trillion from 2028 to deploy up to 400,000 robots, while facing market share pressure in China and securing Milano Solar renewable certificates ahead of 2027 operations.
