U.S. Steel Breaks Ground on $475M Facility at Fairfield Tubular Operations

U.S. Steel broke ground on a new $475 million Quench and Tempering (Q&T) facility at its Fairfield Tubular Operations. The investment is expected to create approximately 250 permanent jobs and 600 during construction, with completion anticipated in 2029.
