L3Harris awarded $139 million US Navy contract for submarine imaging systems

L3Harris Technologies won a USD 139 million U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command award to continue supplying Low-Profile Masts for Virginia- and Columbia-class submarines. The contract includes delivery of masts with visible and infrared imaging that replace hull-penetrating periscopes on the Navy’s nuclear submarine fleet, along with engineering support for Type 20 and Type 24 systems.
