Aecon Teams Awarded $3 Billion In Contracts For Nuclear Station Refurbishment

Aecon Group Inc. said its teams have been awarded contracts with an aggregate value of $3 billion for the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station refurbishment. The company expects to add $1.75 billion to its construction segment backlog in Q3 2026, with project execution expected to begin in January 2027, pending regulatory approval. Separately, an Aecon-Siemens Energy consortium was awarded a $1.30 billion contract for turbine generator replacement.
