American Airlines to anchor Phoenix airport's West Terminal expansion

Phoenix Sky Harbor has selected American Airlines as the anchor carrier for its planned West Terminal expansion, the airport's first new terminal in nearly 40 years. The project aims to add capacity, upgrade amenities, and improve infrastructure to support Phoenix's growth. American Airlines accounts for about 40% of Sky Harbor's traffic, handling over 20 million passengers annually through the airport and operating more than 300 peak daily departures to over 100 destinations.
