GE Vernova-backed Brazil gas plant Azulão I enters service

GE Vernova-backed Azulão I, a 295-MW gas-fired plant in Brazil, entered service using a 7HA.02 gas turbine with a tailored blocking filter to mitigate sub-synchronous resonance risk on a 1,200-mile corridor. Azulão I is the first phase of a broader Azulão complex expected to reach 950 MW, with full commercial operation targeted for Q1 2027.
