Fiverr survey: Generative optimization demand outstrips traditional search

Fiverr's 2026 Holiday Marketing Index found that 67% of freelance search specialists saw rising demand for generative engine optimization (GEO) ahead of the holidays, compared to 56% who cited increased demand for traditional search rankings. The index also noted that 69% of UGC freelancers reported higher holiday demand as retailers sought trust signals that AI-generated video still struggles to replicate.
