Siemens Healthineers teams with Novo to expand non-invasive testing

Siemens Healthineers and Novo will collaborate to expand awareness and access to blood-based non-invasive tests for MASLD and MASH, aiming to reduce reliance on liver biopsy and support earlier triage. The effort highlights Siemens’ Enhanced Liver Fibrosis (ELF) test, a US-authorized blood test for progression risk in advanced fibrosis due to MASH. MASLD affects nearly 25% of US adults and is underdiagnosed, with projected costs exceeding USD 635 billion by decade-end.
