Unilever cuts operational greenhouse gas emissions 77% from 2015 baseline by end 2025

Unilever plc, the consumer goods company, has cut operational scope 1 and 2 emissions by 77% from its 2015 baseline by the end of 2025, and has set a target for a 100% reduction by 2030. The company stated that renewable electricity reached 88% of its global consumption in 2025 and it is shifting focus to decarbonizing heat. The Supplier Climate Programme has been expanded to nearly 200 key suppliers by end-2025, covering 40% of raw material scope 3 emissions.
