BAE Systems completes critical design review for USSF USD 1.2 billion MEO Epoch 2 missile warning satellites

BAE Systems completed a Critical Design Review for the USSF Resilient Missile Warning & Tracking MEO Epoch 2 program, clearing the design to move into production for a missile-warning constellation aimed at tracking ballistic missiles and hypersonic threats. The prime contractor will build 10 spacecraft and develop the ground system for mission management and command and control. The review finished on schedule, 14 months after award, for a contract valued at USD 1.2 billion.
