King Copper Discovery doubles Colquemayo copper land position in Peru

King Copper Discovery expanded its Colquemayo Copper Project land position in southern Peru to about 13,770 hectares from about 6,600 hectares, adding 8 staked concessions covering about 7,170 hectares. The company cited historic geochemical anomalies for copper, gold and molybdenum, and said the expansion follows receipt of environmental certification for a fully funded 36,010-meter diamond drilling program within the previously permitted 6,600-hectare area, allowing up to 40 drill platforms and 59 holes.
