Indian Oil board approves 425 km KPTL gas pipeline
Indian Oil Corporation said its board approved the 425 km-long Kochi–Kanyakumari–Thoothukudi natural gas pipeline to enhance gas supply in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
State-run Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) said on Monday that its board of directors has approved the 425 km-long Kochi-Kanyakumari-Thoothukudi natural gas pipeline (KPTL). The company said the project is intended to improve gas supply in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. IOCL’s board also cleared the investment approval for laying, building and operating the pipeline.
